Tanium is for creators. Bring your own code (#PowerShell, #Python, #bash, etc.). Find out how to build cross-platform sensors for #Windows, #Mac, and #Linux in today's Go-Tanium Tech Talk.
The org chart is standing in your cube saying, "We need this data now." We've all been there. It's another flavor-of-the-week request for "I need to know all the machines with X on them."
Tanium can retrieve data from thousands of computers within seconds. Sensors are snippets of code that tell Tanium what data to bring back. That script can be just about any language on any operating system.
Tanium has over 1,000 sensors out-of-the-box. If you need something else, then you can create your own. In this episode Scott will show you how easy it can be to throw together a quick sensor to get that extra data.
