How I Keep Enjoying Coins As A Veteran Coin Dealer - My Story & "Growth Mindset" In Numismatics
Over the past two years, I have sold around one hundred thousand rare and interesting coins in a variety of different channels, and over the past twenty have made thousands of coin videos and spent countless hours immersed in the world of numismatics. I have noticed that many of my peers have the same relentless passion that I do, while other monetarily successful dealers are jaded and uninterested in their coin-focused careers. I wanted to share some of my story on how I continue to remain excited about coins; a lot of that has been constantly seeking to grow within coins. That encompasses business learnings, history displayed on coins, numismatics, and monetary evolutions, the art of social media and content creation, and interpersonal relationships + travel. Hopefully this can be good encouragement and inspiration for everyone from new collectors just dabbling in the hobby to long-time dealers looking to reignite their interest.
It's all about figuring out how to focus your involvement in new directions while going deeper in your core competencies and knowledge base. And in my case, sharing that with others.
