In 2004, the Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo hotel became a contemporary and distinguished hotel. With its new identity, the hotel kept its soul and maintained a certain luxury level, emphasizing the emotional character yet very modern atmosphere. The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is located in the Carré d'Or, just a few steps away from luxury boutiques and Casino Square. A subtle blend of classical and modern architecture offers the property 126 rooms and suites designed by interior decorator Jacques Garcia. A gastronomic destination featuring 3 restaurants all managed by the world's most Michelin-starred chef Joël Robuchon: Japanese cuisine flavors at Yoshi, refined cuisine at the restaurant Joël Robuchon and Odyssey's Mediterranean cuisine.
The House of Givenchy is also proud to present its first Spa in Monaco. Designed by architect Didier Gomez and beautifully integrated, Givenchy's new Spa Metropole embodies the same philosophy shared in the Houses venues: exceptional location, luxurious spaces, sophisticated care treatments, and an absolute pleasure and well-being.
Hotel Metropole History - In 1886, the « Monte-Carlo Hotel Company Ltd » built the Hotel Metropole on land that previously belonged to Pope Leon XIII. The most demanding international clientele was soon won over by this quiet hotel's ostentatious luxury built in the "Belle Époque" style. In 2004, the Metropole Palace sold the hotel to its successor: The Hotel Metropole Monte Carlo, which became a modern hotel with a strong heritage. Its new image combines its glorious past with a Mediterranean freshness, a decor concept that meets the services' promise.
A destination in itself - The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is a place which is complete in itself. It is a source of wonder for your senses, emotions, and dreams. The architecture and decoration are classical and timeless with a touch of modernism. Its warm Mediterranean spirit makes it different from other hotels - it is nearer to being an independent house. The innovative and personalized services are a source of surprise, and they charm its guests. It is a fashionable, elegant hotel. It is a place of sparkling life with a life in synergy with the Principality. It is also a refuge, offering relaxation and intimacy, where every guest has enough time to take pleasure from the hotel. The Hotel Metropole Monte-Carlo is a recognized reference point among international luxury hotels due to its dynamism, creativity, and innovative character. It has received the highest award with the title of « Best Hotel in the World 2010 » from the Leading Hotels of the World.
Restaurants & Bars - The Metropole Monte-Carlo Restaurant - The Mediterranean-inspired menu created by Joël Robuchon promises an unforgettable gastronomic experience. YOSHI - Joël Robuchon's first Japanese restaurant globally features healthy contemporary cuisine produced by Japanese Chef Takeo Yamazaki, under Christophe Cussac. The one Michelin-starred restaurant offers the freshest nigiri, maki, sashimi, fish, and cooked meat teppanyaki-style, alongside the best sakés and Japanese green teas. A serene and chic interior, created by French designer Didier Gomez, accommodates up to forty diners and leads to a Japanese-inspired garden imagined by landscape gardener Jacques Messin.
BAR & LOBBY - Glamorous, elegant, and cozy, the Lobby Bar offers the opportunity to indulge in delicious treats inspired by Joël Robuchon. It's a place where time passes by slowly while guests catch up over coffee or tea, sip a cocktail or enjoy a laid-back lunch or dinner. Jacques Garcia reinvented the bar and lobby area to create an open space where guests can sit back and relax, read a good book or meet with friends. Music playing softly in the background, curated by Béatrice Ardisson, enhances these perfect moments.
ODYSSEY - Odyssey offers light and modern Mediterranean dishes made from high-quality, seasonal produce. The menu created by Joël Robuchon can be enjoyed by the pool, on the backdrop of a unique Haute-Couture Odyssey mural designed personally by the legendary Karl Lagerfeld. The restaurant remains exclusively reserved for hotel guests and "Odyssey" members of Spa Metropole by Givenchy at lunch.
