In this video, I show
loading of 300,000 text files, with a total length of 151 km,
at speeds of Mach 7. I load the Chrome browser source code,
probably the largest software project available, from a .zip archive.
overall loading took about 1 minute, i cut a bit of that.
first search is a quick performance test: search the word "class"
over 300,000 files. it is done in less then a second, at a speed of Mach 478.
I want to find out which libraries the project uses for image loading,
so i search classes with Jpeg in their name.
I get many hits and scroll through.

Notice that all files are shown in one window. No tabbing around.
I jump through the source code, in one or two windows.
Notice Depeche View can show multiple windows with a small gap
inbetween (configurable) to allow instant access to the desktop.
Of course 3 or 4 windows are also possible. I normally change
between 2 or 3 windows during my work.
words can be searched in the same window by Shift+Click,
or in the other window by a right click on the word.
search can be limited to specific files or folders via the path mask.
By default Depeche View starts with broad window borders
and assistant mode active, showing a popup menu on right click.
This video shows the pro mode with unique lean window borders
and instant search by a single click.
Searches were done with an intel core i7 notebook cpu,
with 4 physical and 8 logical cores. 8 threads were used.
Depeche View Pro is a commercial application.
There is also a Freeware version, Depeche View Lite,
allowing to search and edit 100 files in one window.
