The Problem with Backrooms Games
I've noticed the sheer amount of cheap, questionable looking Backrooms games out there, and I've always been curious if any of them are any good. And I'm ALWAYS hunting for horror games that are ACTUALLY scary. So I'm here to try a list of random Backrooms games, some single player like The Complex and POOLS, and others multiplayer like Escape the Backrooms or Apeirophobia. I wanted to get a wide range of examples and hopefully find out what makes these games good and which ones to avoid at all costs.
This stuff is subjective for sure but I tried my best to be fair and give reasons as to why I liked or disliked each game. But I'm curious if you all agree or think I'm WAY off. And how many of these have you tried yourself? Watching someone play or hearing that something is scary is MUCH different than actually experiencing it.
