Shakhsiyat with Shubhendra Rao
Shubhendra Rao is an eminent Sitar Player of the new generation of Indian Classical instrumentalists and a disciple of the legendary Sitarist, Pt. Ravi Shankar. He was born on November 26, 1964 in Mysore city in the state of Karnataka. From a very young age, he showed great talent for music. His father, late N R Rama Rao, initiated him into the intricacies of Sitar. His mother, Nagaratna, is a trained Saraswati Veena player.
