Community Foodie- growing food on derelict land
How communites in South Wales are using derelict land to grown food and reinvigorate their social well being.
Community Foodie is a project to identity, develop and support community food growing in the rural areas of The Vale of Glamorgan, Bridgend and Torfaen.
The key aim is to strengthen communities by increasing the amount of produce grown and consumed locally.
In addition to this it aims to introduce valuable skills, support healthy lifestyles and bring people together
