FINALLY Decorating the Trees | Vlogmas Day 21
NOTHING LIKE LEAVING THINGS TO THE LAST MINUTE ✨🎄 VLOGMAS DAY 21
Today is a very real-life December Friday: I barely filmed last night because I fell into an editing hole, working through our Mexico vlogs and reliving the trip. This morning it’s back to work with a light schedule, a clingy & very vocal Scrap 🐶, and that “kind of sick but powering through” sinus headache energy (shoutout to DayQuil).
By early afternoon, Slack is a ghost town and I call it for the day so I can tackle holiday errands:
Drop Scrap at home and finish some editing
Hit Target for gift boxes, bows, and ornaments (aka spend $200 accidentally)
Swing by Home Depot for a huge box and a heavy-duty magnet so I can turn a beaded turtle from our Mexico resort into a fridge magnet
Realize the box is comically bigger than the actual gift, but future-me will deal with that 😅
Back at the apartment, I drag all the bags upstairs and finally start Christmas decorating:
Existing simple white bulbs
New matte taupe “velvet” ornaments
Star ornaments to match the tree topper ⭐
Big, slightly glittery ornaments I already regret but will look great on camera ✨
New stockings for me, Brett, and of course Scrap 🐾
We’re late on decorating and late on the dog’s advent calendar, but we’re getting there.
