Auchentoshan Whiskey | Lecture by Alexey Pyatnitskikh
Today at the whisky club meeting, we're tasting Auchentoshan whisky. Until 2022, it was the best-selling single malt whisky in Russia. I, Nikolai Freytak, called it "little known" because I've only bought and tasted it once.
However, Alexey Pyatnitskikh immediately filled in the gaps in my knowledge and shared all the important information about this whisky: its history, producer, distillery location, distillation method, releases, and so on. Over the course of an hour, we not only discussed Auchentoshan whisky but also tasted six releases, which gave us a glimpse into the diversity of its flavors.
