Envira Gallery's tags addon will let you filter your gallery images by simply adding tags to each of your gallery images.
Start by ensuring Envira Gallery is installed and activated as well as under Envira Gallery, Addons the Tags Addon is installed and active.
With those active create or edit the gallery you want and select images to add to your gallery.
Click the Modify Image button on each of the images you want to add a tag to and on the right hand side there should be a text box to insert tags. To add multiple tags separate them with a comma.
Publish your updated gallery and you will now have a gallery with filterable tags that your users can click.
