Ben Johnson - Chief Security Strategist, Bit9 & Carbon Black
Ben Johnson is CoFounder and CTO of Carbon Black. Since the Bit9 acquisition, he has assumed the role of Bit9 Chief Security Strategist where he is involved with all areas of the business, with most of his time spent speaking with customer security teams, technology partners, and industry leadership. Prior to Bit9 and Carbon Black, Ben spent his time in cyber intrusion operations at NSA and then as a defense contractor supporting several defense and intelligence organizations building tools and conducting campaigns. Mr. Johnson's a programmer and security guy by nature who enjoys learning how to blend technology and business. He has computer science degrees from the University of Chicago and Johns Hopkins University. When Ben’s not on the road he lives in Chicago and spends time with his wife and young kids.
