Offset Multiple Both sides
Offsetting linear elements in AutoCAD is a common action. To prevent a whole lot of clicking the "Offset Multiple to Both sides" command was created. After selecting the linear elements which have to be offset the user can adjust various settings which all have a predefined value. Of course the distance can be redefined, standard set to 10. Besides that the command can delete the selected elements right away and put the new elements in a desired layer. Using the predefined values the command makes an offset of the linear elements to both the in- and outside putting the new elements in the layer of the line from which it was offset.
