In surveying, there is point of origin, which is listed as North, East, and
Elevation (0,0,0).
There is also point of beginning. For this example it is listed as
North 1000.000 East 3000.000 (1000.000,3000.000).
Most buildings are built with grids perpendicular or orthogonal to each other.
This makes the use of this localized grid system very easy to figure out with the use of Excel.
Using Excel for the math gives assures that the math is done correctly between grids. It also offers a visual of distances between grids as a chart.
Numbers heading north and east get larger. Both lists start at the southwest corner cross grid of the project
