MATERIALS NEEDED:
3 yards of flowy woven fabric
Enough bias tape for the neckline
Matching thread
MEASUREMENTS/STEPS:
51" from neck to hem, cut length
18" on the fold, cut width
14" from raw side edge on top edge - mark for neck opening on both front and back
8" down center front - mark point of V neck
Connect markings from 14" and 8" on V neck and cut off fabric from the fold
Cut slight curve out of back neck between markings
Follow In the Folds blog post for attaching bias tape to neck line
Finish raw edges of sides and hem with serger or zig zag overcast stitch on sewing machine
Turn finished edges of sides and hem 1/4", press, stitch in place
12 1/2" from shoulder seam, begin side seam stitch
18" side seam stitch
