Mario Tennis Power Tour - Singles Speedrun in
After running the GBC version (and Golden Sun), seemed natural I'd give this one a go. The games a hell of a lot easier to run, I'll tell you that
Added a few new strats, especially with the early fights where you can't return ace them consistently at all, threw in the manual dive shots for angle and drop shots for lure there.
Run itself could be a lot better. I thought the free level was actually a level (like a Rare Candy) so I used it later thinking it would give more exp, but it isn't at all so I should do that straight away. Or not at all, it might not even be needed. A few fights didn't go that well, Chris and Emi immediately come to mind. And I don't know whether my routing run had different levels and I wrote them down wrong or what, but I just could not land an Top Spin Ace on Bowser at all, when I thought he was more like 50/50 to ace. Probably not worth going for the ace on Peach and co as well in future.
