In this tutorial, I show you KreateFlo's Quick Insert feature, a fast way to search through a disorganized project file and instantly find and drop in the exact image, video clip, or SFX you're looking for, without digging through bins manually.

I walk through searching by file type, choosing between overwrite and insert ripple, and refreshing your project items after adding new files.

This is part of our ongoing KreateFlo series. Catch up on the earlier tutorials covering Installation, Multicam Editing, Audio Editing, Pitch Correction, Single-Speaker Editing, Spotlight/Updates, Transitions, Auto Zoom, and Auto Resize if you're just getting started.

What you'll learn:

1. How Quick Insert automatically scans and lists all items in your project file
2. How to search and filter by file type (e.g., images, video, SFX)
3. The difference between "overwrite" (replaces what's on the timeline) and "insert ripple" (shifts existing clips to make room)
4. How does inserting ripple shifts your timeline to fit the new clip without overwriting anything
5. How to refresh project items to pick up newly added files without restarting the panel
6. Why this is especially useful on large, messy projects where you're hunting for one specific asset

If you've ever lost time scrolling through a cluttered project panel looking for "that one clip," this feature is built to solve exactly that.
