Do you find your beard a bit curled and not in proper condition? Dr. Ubaid explains how to deal with this using bristle brushes.
Beard on! Beard grooming doesn't need to take all of your precious time.
Brushing a beard is a bit different than brushing the hair on the top of your head. Growing a beard is one thing - properly trimming, grooming and maintaining your beard can be another thing entirely.
As your beard grows one of the best ways to train it and organize it is by using a beard brush. The come in many shapes, styles, and with different bristles.
When selecting a beard brush it's important to know the differences of the bristles. Firm bristles work great for coarser hair which the beard is made up of. Anything less than firm will have a hard time getting through your beard and be of a benefit.
Keep in mind, that brushing your beard is one of the most aggressive activities that you can do to your beard. Hairs will be pulled out. Don’t brush the beard too many times in a day as it will cause damage to hair.
Do brush your beard before shower as a shower after brushing your beard will result in a cleaner beard. It is important to use the clean brush as it will remove all the dirt from the beard.
Massage the bristles to help remove any dirt. Once in a month give brush a quick soak in water after you have dry cleaned it. Massage some hand soap into the bristles. Allow to air dry after. This should only be done once a month as water isn't the best thing for a wooden beard brush.
To brush a beard all you need is a bristle brush, a round bristle brush. You'll start with a clean and wet beard.
Start with a round bristle brush moves the beard from the downward to upward direction from bottom to cheeks to keep the neck line clear and help in hair straightening. After then move the round bristle brush from upward to downward motion from cheeks to bottom leading to the beard to come directly straight rather to get curled in a respective condition.
Later on, use the bristle brush to lay down all the hair which are not settled yet and make a beard the required style the one required.
