At The Caravan, Camping and Motorhome Show 2023, I spoke with Avara, a company launching a brand new product in the UK - and one that I am extremely excited about.
Avara has created a fully automatic moisture alarm that continuously monitors if there is a leak in your motorhome or caravan. This could be revolutionary in an industry full of vehicles that suffer from damp issues.
It works by placing a set of small moisture sensors in and around the structure of your motorhome or caravan - typically where your model of vehicle is most vulnerable to damp and leaks.
It can detect a new leak and also help you monitor ongoing to damp for fluctuations - helping you stay on top of the problem and avoid costly major repairs on your leisure vehicle.
