Do you remember your first run? That moment when your life was divided into before and after, into the period when you were an ordinary person and the period when you became a runner.

Did this one short event change a lot in your life? I bet quite a lot...

So how was it different from other similar runs? From your subsequent runs? There's only one thing for sure: this run was the FIRST.

We know of many cases where people were first in something and made history.
The first person in space, the first person on the moon, or, for example, the first person to run a marathon in under two hours.

But each of us has our own personal story, which is definitely more important than the global one. Judge for yourself, which changed your life more – your first run or Eliud Kipchoge's record?

Or remember your first kiss, your first time driving a car, or maybe your first parachute jump? All of these first-time experiences are filled with pure emotion, and your attitude toward the process is fundamentally changed.

Why? Because we gain first-hand experience, which allows us to better understand the event, form our own opinions, and plan our next steps.

So, by your 100th parachute jump, you'll act with precision, and emotions will fade into the background. The 100th time you get behind the wheel, you'll do everything automatically.

And with the 100th kiss... Everyone has their own story... But you'll definitely be more experienced in this one, too.

The same goes for your first marathon. You'll definitely experience strong emotions and remember it for the rest of your life. And what matters is whether those emotions are positive or negative!

This will determine whether there will be a next time, and if there is, you'll be driving the marathon with your own experience. And that will be a different story!

But we really want to avoid potential mistakes the first time and experience only positive emotions.
And for that, too, experience is needed, not your own, but borrowed.
And what I want to offer you today is a little experience that will help you prepare for your first marathon!
