The Quadruped Walk is a controlled, bodyweight movement that challenges your core, shoulders, hips, and coordination. Performed from an all-fours position, this exercise builds trunk stability, total-body awareness, and functional movement control—making it perfect for warm-ups, athletic development, or stability training.
💥 How to Perform:
✅ Start in a quadruped position (hands under shoulders, knees under hips, toes tucked)
✅ Lift your knees slightly off the ground to engage your core
✅ Move forward by stepping with the opposite hand and foot (e.g. right hand + left foot)
✅ Keep your back flat, hips level, and movements slow and controlled
✅ Take 6–10 deliberate steps forward, then reverse or reset
🔥 Benefits of Quadruped Walks:
✔ Builds core stability and shoulder control
✔ Enhances coordination and full-body movement awareness
✔ Strengthens the scapular stabilizers, hips, and trunk
✔ Great for warm-ups, rehab, and athletic movement prep
