NEW UPDATE: Per Patrick Read Johnson's Twitter (@moonwatcher1), this film finally has a release date. On MAY 25th, 2017, the 40th anniversary of the debut of Star Wars, "5-25-77" will finally premiere in theaters. Stay tuned to http://www.5-25-77themovie.com for information.
UPDATE: It's been several years since this trailer was released and the movie was promoted as "Coming Soon." I am not affiliated with the filmmakers and thus do not know its current status. I sure would like to see it one day, however.
The story of Pat Johnson, a budding filmmaker from a small town in the 1970s. After getting the first sneak peek of the forthcoming sci-fi classic, he takes it upon himself to spread the word about 'Star Wars' on the day of its premiere - May 25th, 1977.
