This segment of Tat-Stories comes to you from the Philadelphia Tattoo Convention sponsored by Villain Arts, as usual - thanks to Troy and Carl for their hospitality. We especially like this on because it features the Kahuna on his knees grabbing an ink tale. Some day we really need to a shot of him and Baseball guy trying to get up after one of these "in tattoo process" interviews - now that would be entertaining.

Our first interview is with Emmi who was stretched out on the table getting an epic thigh piece go a woman with smoke coming out of her mouth. When we asked her why she picked that piece she flat out told ud she did not know. Emma then explained she loves going to her artist who surprises her with stuff. We call that spontaneous and trusting yes ink. Emmi is absolutely a black and gray gal - NO COLOR. Emma talked about a great Geo sleeve she has - when asked what influenced that selection she told us - she liked it and thought it was spiritual to her. Great work from Jay and Bone Daddy. Emmi shared with us that she's the only one tatted in her family and they absolutely love her ink, and she closed it out with a tip on how to deal with tattoo pain - one word - BREATH.

Our second interview is with Samuel who is both a collector and artists who was visiting from Utah. He's a bad ass that loves tattooing people. HE lead us off with his most challenging piece to date - a cover up of a mom's portrait with a portrait of the same mom - WOW. Now his favorite tattoo sounds pretty memorable too - while at a divorce party they ex wife oversaw the tattooing of her name on the now exes ass - oh my. Now Samuel is pretty eclectic because he likes black and gray realism and he also likes a splash of water color now and again too. If you give Samuel a one word tattoo desire he's gonna tell you "bigger is better". Samuel closed it out by telling us the favorite piece on his body is his Grandpa Munster - gotta love that.
