How to View Screen Time & Set App Timer Limits on Android & Samsung Phones
On Android 10+ (including Samsung Galaxy devices), you can use Digital Wellbeing to track your screen time and set daily app usage limits.
1. Enable Digital Wellbeing
Open Settings on your phone.
Tap Digital Wellbeing & parental controls.
Turn on Show icon in the app list (optional) so you can quickly access it Google Support.
If prompted, allow Usage data access or toggle Daily device usage on .
2. View Your Screen Time
On Samsung Galaxy (One UI 5+):
From Settings, tap Digital Wellbeing and parental controls.
Tap Screen time goal tracker to see your daily usage and set a goal.
For a weekly report, tap the Weekly report icon (four vertical lines) to see daily averages and most-used apps Samsung.
On most Android phones:
Open Digital Wellbeing and look for the Weekly report or Daily usage chart.
You’ll see how many times you unlocked your phone, notifications received, and top apps used Google Support.
3. Set App Timer Limits
In Digital Wellbeing, go to App timers.
Tap Set timer.
Choose the app(s) you want to limit.
Select the days and set the time limit (hours/minutes).
Tap Done Samsung.
When the timer ends, the app will close and its icon will dim until you reset it.
