Opening Ceremony at the new BBVA Compass Stadium on May 12, 2012; home of the Houston Dynamo. Houston's past Championship banners are revealed as Pat Onstad and Craig Waibel display the 2006 MLS Cup Trophy and Eddie Robinson and Wade Barrett display the 2007 MLS Cup Trophy. The Houston Dynamo defeated the DC United 1-0 in the Inaugural Game before a sellout crowd of 22,039.
