Video tutorial for 2D game art for programmers' complete game art tutorial: 'Starting the animations''.
This is an Inkscape tutorial about moving the body parts of the character using different layers to create the animation. Most of the features work in other tools like illustrator, coreldraw or freehand as well.
I started out wanting to do the idle and the run animations but simply ran out of my ~10min time limit. The next part will follow shortly though.
Note:
It's been recorded and I just want to edit it a little before releasing it... and yes... I will go an buy a better microphone. My old headset isn't doing the job.
