[INFO]
In today's video, I will show you how to upload files and folders to your Google Drive and how to share them with friends, family, or anyone online. I'll also demonstrate how to grant access to the files and folders to anyone with the link.
[TEXT GUIDE]
[1] Open your preferred search engine and search for "Google Drive." Select the first link, "Google Drive: Sign-in," and sign into your Google account if you haven't already.
[2] To create a new folder, simply click on "New" in the top left, select "New Folder," and rename. Then, click "Create."
[3] Double-click your new folder; it will open, and this is where you can upload your files and folders.
[4] You can add them by dragging and dropping them into the blank space. Alternatively, you can go to the top left again, select "New," and choose between "File Upload" or "Folder Upload."
[5] Select the desired option, and you can pick any file or folder from your system to upload to Google Drive.
[6] Once you've uploaded it, you're done. If you want to share the file or folder, simply select the dropdown arrow next to the folder name you just created.
[7] Choose the dropdown, select "Share," and then select "Share" again.
[8] This is where you can grant access to specific individuals or adjust the general access by selecting the dropdown and choosing either "Restricted" or "Anyone with the link."
[9] If you select "Anyone with the link," you can easily copy the link and paste it to whomever you want, whether through a messaging service or email.
