The Martian Colonization Project at Manheim Township Middle School | Brighter Days
Manheim Township Middle School students experience cooperative, project-based learning with the help of their teachers, Ryan Clarke and Olivia Gretner, in a multi-faceted, student-centered experience based on the novel, "The Martian."
Manheim Township Middle School students work together and use their personal strengths to complete different projects as they work their way through reading the novel. Students build their own garden plots, plan their airlocks to survive the vacuum of space, explore aeroponics and traditional gardening, and code their robotic rovers.
