Nundle Township & Chaffey Dam stay
After a lovely christmas with friends at our hometown of Stockton, NSW, we took our time to stay at Gloucester in a lovely park alongside the Gloucester River and look around the pretty but historical township.
Next we traveled via Thunderbolts Way through the Barrington Tops area, this road was very windy and very steep in parts - 12% gradient for 4-5kms.
We had 5 nights at Chaffey Dam (Graham and Pete) visited from Newcastle and stayed 4 nights and 1 night respectively. Visited Nundle and the local pub there for lunch and a few of the other tourist attractions on offer.
Including spending NYE here.... Nothing eventful on that front, but 2019 NYE was in New Orleans and 2020 was in Nundle - mmmm New Orleans to Nundle and world apart.
