Is the microcontroller unit good for everything? Can you use integrated circuits and be happy with that? In this video Alex answers those questions while building a simple (at first glance) countdown timer. If you want to learn how to make simple timer – look no further!
Using Arduino Mini Alex created a countdown timer that can be modified in the software. It shows the numbers on the 7-segment display. On the other hand he soldered a few integrated circuits like CD40110, 74LS90N and the legendary 555 timer (NE55P). Which one is simpler and easier to use? Find out in our video!
