Daisy Red Ryder Can Cutting Challenge.
The Daisy Red Ryder is a fantastic starter rifle for both the young and the old.
This video details a basic can cutting challenge and is set at a range of just over 7m.
The Red Ryder has a mechanical lever cocking system that compresses a spring before being released by the trigger.
This has an accurate range of 15m to 20m depending on the weather.
This is a SHORT video illustrating some random fun hitting a random can in the garden.
In my opinion I do not believe that the red Ryder will efficiently dispatch of pests even at close range. So I would therefore not recommend this for hunting.
This is a target rifle designed for garden plinking and fun.
I would always suggest wearing eye protection when firing this as there is a high chance of ricochet due to it firing bb’s.
Always make sure you know what’s behind your target and where there are likely to be people before shooting. You have a responsibility to keep both yourself and others safe whilst shooting targets.
As you can see in this video the BB it fires goes through 1 and a half cans at point blank range.
If you decide to cut a can with the daisy red Ryder it will do with ease at a range of 10m or less.
