How to change uppercase to lowercase in excel: There are several ways to change uppercase letters to lowercase in Excel and vice versa. Here are two methods to do so:
Method 1: Using the "Text to Columns" Feature
Select the cells containing the text you want to change.
Go to the "Data" tab in the Excel ribbon, then click on the "Text to Columns" button in the "Data Tools" section.
In the "Text to Columns" wizard, select the "Delimited" option and click "Next."
In the next step, select the "Other" option and enter the lowercase or uppercase letter you want to use as a delimiter. For example, if you want to change uppercase letters to lowercase, you would enter "a" as the delimiter.
Click "Next" and then "Finish" to complete the process. The text in the selected cells will now be changed to the desired case.
Method 2: Using the "UPPER" and "LOWER" Functions
Select the cells containing the text you want to change.
Enter the formula "=UPPER(cell reference)" in an adjacent cell to change lowercase letters to uppercase. For example, if the text you want to change is in cell A1, the formula would be "=UPPER(A1)".
Enter the formula "=LOWER(cell reference)" in an adjacent cell to change uppercase letters to lowercase. For example, if the text you want to change is in cell A1, the formula would be "=LOWER(A1)".
Press Enter to apply the formula and see the result.
If you want to keep the result of the formula, you can copy and paste it as values over the original text.
With either of these methods, you can easily change uppercase letters to lowercase or vice versa in Excel.
