In this video tutorial, we will cover how to mathematically calculate beats per minute to use for warping songs for custom maps in Synth Riders, Beat Saber, or other rhythm music games.
The math: BPM = 60 / [average time between notes]
It's usually much easier to use ArrowVortex to find bpm (link below), but if ArrowVortex failed, this method is more accurate than tapping the beat out. However, you may still want to tap it out, as this method will tell you how many notes are being played per minute in the portion of the song you're analyzing, but not necessarily the actual beats per minute (related to measures and meter).
