Brandy 2D Link is a Blender add-on for a focused 2D game-art workflow between Blender and the Adobe Photoshop desktop application.
This tutorial introduces the main workflow in Brandy 2D Link 1.6.3: creating a linked project, editing sprite textures in Adobe Photoshop, reloading textures in Blender, using Auto Reload, painting in context with Merge Layers, and understanding the most important workflow boundaries.
Brandy 2D Link is designed for artists, animators, and 2D game developers who want a practical texture iteration workflow for sprite-based projects. It focuses on predictable local file handling, linked project folders, operation reports, backups, and low background overhead.
It is not a real-time brush preview system, an Adobe Photoshop replacement, a general image editor, or a full Spine animation importer. PhotoshopToSpine and Spine2D-related tools are included only as optional static-sprite workflow extensions.
