How To Make Custom Sights In War Thunder! Updated 2025
Steps:
1) Go to https://solawk.github.io/wtdraw/
2) Select what picture you want to make a sight of
3) Move and scale the image to your liking
4) Start creating
5) When you are done, click "Export Sight"
6) Open the sight.txt file
7) In War Thunder, go to options then click on "Common Battle Settings"
8) At "Use alternative grid sight" click "Add a grid sight"
9) Go to the User Sights folder and open it
10) Open the folder for the tank you created the sight for
11) open the sight1.blk with Notepad
12) Copy the text from sight.txt like I did in the video (2:31)
13) Paste it into the sight1.blk (follow video)
14) Make sure you didn't miss the { and } at the start and end
15) Save the .blk file
16) Rename it (optional)
17) Restart War Thunder
18) At "Use alternative grid sight" click the name of the .blk file (sight1 by standard)
19) Go in a test drive and see if your sight loaded correctly
20) Done!
