How do I perform a quick reset on a Tesla Model 3 or Model Y? Press and hold the steering wheel buttons until the central display goes dark. The reset typically takes up to 5 minutes. A reset is useful if any of the options are malfunctioning (glitching). I personally experienced a loss of sound from the speakers. A reset fixed the problem.
