Hello, welcome to Tecnologiabit, your channel for Technology, Tutorials, and Solutions. Today we're going to look at a guide to troubleshooting the VAN9001 error in Valorant, which prevents us from playing the game on Windows 11, as this version already incorporates new security requirements.
This is because it requires us to have the TPM 2.0 hardware and Secure Boot enabled in the BIOS of our PC or laptop. Therefore, we have to follow a series of steps to activate them, which, in this example, we'll do with a Gigabyte Aourus B450 motherboard for an AMD Ryzen CPU.
To clarify, these steps were able to solve the problem when playing Valorant on Windows 11 (according to its official requirements). You shouldn't have any problems applying them, but using them is at your own risk, as some users have reported hardware failures. (*)
(*) Analyzing the problem reported by a user, if you experience any issues enabling these motherboard features, keep in mind that your hard drive must be formatted in GTP (not MBR) to properly connect to Secure Boot (an issue that depends on the particular manufacturer).
