Lars Kurth — An Introduction to Xen Project Virtualization
This talk provides an overview of the Xen Project eco-system and its main use-cases in a number of important market segments: it covers server virtualization, cloud computing and embedded, automotive and related. Lars Kurth highlights why the Xen Project is relevant in these market segments: he provides an overview of the Xen Project's architecture, relevant existing functionality and ongoing and planned developments. To complement the picture, he covers open-source projects that are related to Xen and are of interest for these use-cases. Excellent Software security is key to all of these use-cases.
