After our journey from Salta, we spent the night in Purmamarca and decided to climb the mountain early morning to see the town from above, and witness the beautiful Hill of Seven Colors. It was so worth the climb!... It was magnificent! Little did we know, it was only the beginning...
As we traveled further north towards Humahuaca, we stopped at a little town called Maimara where the backdrop of a mountain called the Painter's Palette looked... like a painters pallet! The colours were numerous, vivid and beautiful.. "OMG!" we thought, this was even better than the last one!
"It can't get any better than this," we thought...
But wait! Our jaw literary dropped as we drove closer and got a glimpse of el Hornocal. "Is this real!??" Seriously, the most spectacular view we have ever seen! The multicolored mountains in Jujuy took our breath away...
