Wormholes, also known as Einstein-Rosen bridges, are theorized as tunnels that connect two distant points in space-time, allowing rapid passage between them. The explanation of how a wormhole works is based on Einstein's general relativity. According to some documentaries, wormholes could theoretically exist and be used as time machines. To build a stable wormhole, exotic matter with negative energy would be needed, which would prevent the tunnel from collapsing. In films like "Interstellar," wormholes are depicted as viable passageways for interstellar and time travel. The concept of a wormhole as a time machine implies that by manipulating one of the entrances with relativistic speeds or placing it in a strong gravitational field, a time shift could be created between the two ends. This would allow time travel by entering one end and exiting the other at a different time. However, while the idea is intriguing, there is currently no evidence that wormholes actually exist. Furthermore, constructing a wormhole with current technology is beyond our capabilities. The possibility of time travel through wormholes therefore remains a fascinating topic of theoretical research and scientific speculation.
