This One Mistake Can Ruin Your TV
Some TVs may look like they have a removable plastic layer, but in certain cases, that layer is actually a polarizer, an essential part of the screen. If it’s removed, the display turns white and unusable—even though the image is still there. Holding the removed sheet in front of your eyes can temporarily reveal the picture, but the damage is already done. One small mistake can ruin the entire TV.
