I'm thrilled to present this interview to the world 🌎
I can't believe I've made it to this point!
It feels like yesterday I was making the first MTV's Downtown Iceberg video. In it, I pointed out that Mecca's character lacked an interview video on the promotional DVD and I offered my best guess as to why that was.
My coverage of all things Downtown resonated, and I caught the attention of many of the original voice cast members which eventually connected me with Aurora Lucia-Levey, Mecca's voice actress.
She generously granted me permission to upload her original 1996 interview on her behalf.
