The Manitou Incline
The Manitou Incline: 2768 steps, 2000+ ft of elevation (from 6500' to 8500'), incline grade fron 41% to 65%. The Barr trail is the authorized return trail, another 3.5 miles of knee and thigh burn, although some people do descend the Incline which is not "permitted ". I pity their knees.
