Squarespace Preloaders – Why you probably shouldn't use a preloader in Squarespace
Looking to add a preloader to Squarespace? Good news and bad news.
The bad news is, if you add one it's probably not going to work. And if it doesn' it's slowing your site down massively.
Good news is that Squarespace is so fast, there is no need for preloaders. If you add one, the Squarespace preloader will often show for just 0.1 seconds. Sometimes not even that. So a preloader is kind of unnecessary.
I do however recommend adding PAGE TRANSITION ANIMATIONS. You an add a preloader with them, but they work great without one. Remember, a preloader is not going to be shown for more than a tiny flash because Squarespace usually loads the content so quickly.
