A Thrilling Night to Remember at GroMusic’s Halloween Jam! 🎃🎶
On October 26, 2024, GroMusic hosted a special Halloween jam session at Stage One Studios in Room 6, setting the stage for a night of spooky grooves and ghostly good times! This wasn’t just any jam night – it was the “Maiden Jam Night” at Stage One Studios, and the community turnout was epic, with 17 musicians bringing the house down in full Halloween spirit. Some familiar faces, some new, and everyone ready to make magic happen.
The night’s setlist was pure Halloween vibes, loaded with haunting classics like Thriller and Monster Mash. The crowd howled along to fan favorites, while “Devil Woman” popped up as a highly requested tune from the audience – a perfect fit for the night’s theme! But what’s Halloween without a few tech hiccups? In true “trick-or-treat” fashion, the soundboard threw in a challenge, limiting access to many inputs due to restrictions by the facility’s backline setup. Despite this, the talented group jammed on, making every song sound like a treat.
One of the standout moments was newcomer Chris’s killer solo. Let’s just say, he may have been a new face, but his shredding skills were far from green! His haunting leads were a perfect complement to the night’s eerie playlist, adding to the spooky, electrifying energy that filled the room.
