OSPF Introduction - MIKROTIK TUTORIAL [ENG SUB]
Open Shortest Path First (OSPF) is a dynamic routing protocol (Dynamic Routing) that is able to maintain, manage and distribute routing information between networks following any dynamic network changes. OSPF is included in the IGP (Interior Gateway Protocol) category which has Link-State capabilities and the Djikstra Algorithm which is much more efficient than other IGP protocols. In its operation, OSPF uses its own protocol, namely protocol 89.
OSPF is often used for network management on a medium to large scale. By using this feature, it will be easier for us to update routing information and minimize configuration errors in the distribution of routing information on the network.
