Jeep Wrangler Automatic Transmission Bump Shift Operation video explains how it works. Since having my Jeep Wrangler JK Sport the bump shift has always puzzled. me. I have been driving manuals ever since I can remember so I'm not to familiar with automatics. I actually discovered the feature by complete accident. I just nudged the shifter and all of a sudden I was screaming with one gear. Quite a surprise. The problem was how you go back to normal automatic transmission function once the bump shift was engaged. Pretty simple actually.
