Total lunar eclipse in Michigan: Here's when to catch a glimpse this week
What's being called the full blood worm moon is coming in the early morning hours Friday. Don't panic, though, this doesn't mean bloody worms will begin spilling from the moon's crust, signaling the end of days.
In reality, this month's full moon will take on a reddish hue for about an hour, all thanks to a total lunar eclipse. This blood moon appearance happens from 2:26 a.m. through 3:31 a.m. Friday.
