The Macro is a cross-country focussed tyre that’s just as ready to take on the world’s most challenging XC circuits, as it is to rip your local trails every weekend. The centreline is made up of small and tightly-spaced knobs to keep the pace high, but when you lean over, the wider spacing and raised outer knobs take control to deliver predictable cornering when it matters most. Tritec compound reinforces these characteristics too, by utilising harder rubber where efficiency is crucial, and softer rubber when traction takes priority. Under the tread, the speedy and supple 120tpi SG TCS tubeless casing both increases ride comfort, and keeps weight to an absolute minimum. Combine all of this with a generous volume and rounded profile, and you get a top-tier cross country tyre capable of world-class performances. The Macro is available in 29” x 2.4, and with a choice of black or tan sidewalls.
