Oscar Cichlid | Growth rate out of this world! Available to watch 1080p
The Oscar is best known in the hobby of fish keepers as the DOG FISH. Its one of the best fish you can have in your aquarium. The Oscar will let you hand feed, touch and take plenty pictures of them they're very friendly as you can see in my other videos i will add the link of me hand feeding.
This was my very first fish 9 months ago. He was a little bigger than my pinky finger! Well not anymore lol. HE SEEMS TO GROW RAPIDLY I ASSUME A INCH OR TWO A MONTH.
MIN TANK SIZE 75 BUT I BELIEVE THEY CAN FIT IN A 55 GAL JUST MY OPINION.
FOOD: They eat anything seriously. But a staple pellet, veggies like peas oranges and string beans will do fine as long as you feed him every other day. They dont need to eat to much.
Temp 72- 80º
AGGRESSIVE FISH no smaller fish the size does matter with tank mates.
PH 6.0 - 6.5
Very messy eaters so weekly water change is advised.
Thanks for watching.
If you leave a comment and i don't reply im sorry just busy. BUT I WILL MAKE SURE I WATCH YOUR VIDEOS AND COMMENT AND LIKE WHEN IM OFF THIS WEEKEND.
