Why is it hard to employ fresh grads? Is it not that they have innovative ideas and exposure to new technologies?
Today's #givingtuesday video is about the mistaken association of Experience with Expertise and Maturity. Humanity has since time immemorial associated age with maturity and wisdom. There is no other reason to always depict wise people as old and grey. Even the expression is "a wise old man". No one ever said a "young wise man" or "wise young woman" or anything of that sort. This is a mistaken association since they do not always correlate and definitely do not have a causal relationship.
So where do you start in a world where experience is expected of fresh graduates?
